The Client
The client is starting a home-based nail salon and needed a minimal online presence to support word-of-mouth referrals and to showcase her work to potential customers.
Solution
Although it's early days for her business, I took the initiative to build a lightweight website — both to strengthen my portfolio and gain hands-on experience with the core web stack. Given her needs, a simple static site made the most sense: it's fast, lightweight, easy to maintain, and easy to deploy. It also leaves room for a smooth migration to Next.js in the future if SEO or scalability become priorities.
